Trish brings a holistic, personable and passionate approach to therapy.  With over 30 years’ experience providing individual, group and family therapy, she has gathered multiple methods and styles to allow people to customize their treatment plan to meet their needs.  She welcomes a variety of requests and interests with an educational and skill based practice.  Success is determined by seeing people being empowered through knowledge to approach and solve their problems. Trish is well versed in treating life transitions and relationship matters between adults or between parents and children.  She has a unique approach to working with anger issues and mood disorders.  Substance abuse issues are treated within the context of a whole life experience.

Trish has specialized in treating traumas from many different causes.  She is trained and proficient in EMDR, a proven method to treat trauma.  Trauma can be derived from multiple sources occurring in early childhood or later in life.  She has worked extensively with trauma from military experience to abusive or life-threatening experiences. 

Trish has been a primary referral source from social, government, school or inpatient and residential treatment agencies in the states where she has lived. She is responsive to the needs of individuals coming with their specific life stories and needs. Trish has supervised graduate students coming into the field of clinical social work with universities around the country.  She has recently relocated to Florida from New Mexico and has previously practiced as an independent clinician and administrator in Arizona, Ohio and North Carolina.
